Built to advance with the models

More capable models let us attempt more ambitious work. As models improve, some of the support around them becomes unnecessary; we remove it and put the new capability to work. Purpose, relevant information and coordination still matter — our work is to connect model capability to useful outcomes.

Engineering grounded in use

We use Descant to develop and improve our own products, and our agents reach us through OH HAI. Sustained work exposes repeated mistakes, coordination problems and unnecessary cost; those observations shape what we build next.

Autonomy was founded by Tim Layton, whose engineering career includes Shopify, Amazon and Boulevard. The standard is software that remains understandable, maintainable and dependable as the work grows.
